The scholarship programme is a significant opportunity for all students who were struggling to pay their school expenses before being awarded a
scholarship. On Wednesday, the Chief Minister of the state of Odisha, Naveen
Patnaik unveiled two new websites, dubbed the Integrated Odisha State
Scholarship Portal and the Sumangal Portal, both of which are available in
English. Individuals will be able to access scholarships and benefits through the use of both of these websites openly and transparently. The Sumangal portal has been developed to provide incentives for inter-caste marriages. The eight state departments are offering 21 scholarships, and more than 11 lakh recipients from the SC, ST, and OBC categories would benefit from these awards. It will be possible for these students to receive their scholarship funds by direct deposit into their bank accounts.
