SSC CHSL Recruitment 2023 12th Pass GOVT Job

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level (CHSL) Examination 2023, which will be used to recruit candidates for a variety of positions. For various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India, as well as various Constitutional Bodies/ Statutory Bodies/ Tribunals, the Staff Selection Commission will hold a competitive examination for recruitment to the posts of Lower Divisional Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant, and Data Entry Operators.

 

From February 1, 2023 to March 7, 2023, interested applicants can apply for the recruitment examination online at the Commission's official website, https://ssc.nic.in.

SSC CHSL Recruitment 2023 Vacancy Details

Vacancies will be filled as soon as possible. The Commission's website will be updated with the most recent vacant positions.

Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant, and Data Entry Operator opportunities will be available (DEO).

Pay Scale

• Pay Level 2 (Rs 19,900 – Rs 63,200): Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA).
• Pay Level 4: Postal Assistant (PA)/ Sorting Assistant (SA) ( Rs 25,500- Rs 81,100).
• Pay Levels 4 (Rs 25,500 – Rs 81,100) and 5 (Rs 29,200 – Rs 92,300) for Data Entry Operators (DEOs).
• Pay Level 4 (Rs 25,500 – Rs 81,100) for Data Entry Operator, Grade 'A'.

SSC CHSL Recruitment Eligibility Criteria 2023

Candidates seeking positions of LDC/ JSA, PA/ SA, and DEO (excluding DEOs in C&AG) must have completed the 12th Standard or an equivalent examination from a recognised Board or University.

Data Entry Operator (DEO Grade 'A'): The applicant must have completed the 12th Standard in the Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognised Board or equivalent.

Age Limit

Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 27 as of January 1, 2023, i.e., they must have been born between February 1, 1995, and January 1, 2004.

For several reserved category applicants, there is a relaxation in the maximum age restriction.

Important Notes

The SSC CHSL examination will be conducted in three stages: Tier I (Computer Based Examination), Tier II (Descriptive Paper), and Tier III (Skill Test/ Typing Test) (Tier-III).

The Tier-I Computer Based Examination (Tier-I) will most likely take place in May 2023, with the Tier-II Examination (Descriptive Paper) to be announced subsequently.

All interested and qualified applicants can apply online at the SSC's official website, https://ssc.nic.in. The deadline for applications is March 7, 2023.

A charge of Rs 100 is required to submit an application.

SC/ST, Women, Persons with Disabilities (PwD), and Ex-servicemen applicants are excluded from paying the reservation fee.
